Honey Hunting Site
The honey hunting site lies in the remote hills of Lamjung district, ranging between 3,000 to 10,000 feet in altitude. These sites are known for their towering cliffs, dense forests, and vibrant local culture.
For three full days, you will live among the honey hunters — learning their techniques, traditions, and lifestyle. You’ll witness the entire process, from tool preparation and rope setup to the brave descent on rope ladders as hunters harvest golden honey from wild hives.
Evenings are filled with local cultural performances, folk songs, and dances that express their spiritual connection to this age-old practice. By the end of this experience, you’ll carry with you not just memories but also a deep admiration for the locals’ skill and bravery.
Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, our friendly representative will greet you and escort you to your hotel. In the evening (around 6 PM), you’ll attend a short trip briefing session to discuss the program and meet your guide.

Today is the highlight of your journey! After breakfast, hike to the honey hunting site through lush forest trails. You’ll watch as skilled hunters climb rope ladders suspended against high cliffs, collecting honeycombs from wild bee nests.
Capture the entire event, from lighting the smoke fires to lowering the honey baskets — a scene filled with adrenaline and tradition. You’ll even get to taste fresh wild honey at the end of the hunt.
Afterward, return to the village for dinner and celebration.
