Ama Yangri Trek itinerary

Pick up from your hotel in Kathmandu between 7–8 AM and drive towards Tarkeghyang. The journey passes through Chabahil, Melamchi, and Timbu, offering views of hills, rivers, and distant peaks. Arrival at Tarkeghyang takes 5–6 hours. Check-in at a hotel or tea house, enjoy dinner, and prepare for the next day’s trek.

Start trekking at 6 AM. The trail passes through pine and oak forests, meadows, and local villages, offering views of Nepal’s flora and fauna. After a 3-hour ascent, enjoy lunch at a tea house before continuing to Ama Yangri Peak. At the summit, soak in panoramic views of Langtang, Everest, Ganesh Himal, Gaurishankar, Annapurna Range, and Manaslu. Descend back to Tarkeghyang, relishing the landscapes along the way.
