Phoksundo Lake Trek overview

Phoksundo Lake Trek is one of the most stunning trekking adventures in Nepal, leading you to the turquoise jewel of Shey Phoksundo Lake, nestled deep within Dolpa, Nepal’s largest and most remote district. The journey passes through Shey Phoksundo National Park, home to rare wildlife, pristine forests, traditional villages, and unique Tibetan Buddhist and Bonpo cultures.

Located at an altitude of 3,612 meters, Phoksundo Lake is considered the deepest and most beautiful lake in Nepal, surrounded by dramatic cliffs and snowy peaks. The turquoise water of the lake, the peaceful atmosphere, and the authentic mountain lifestyle make this trek one of the most memorable experiences in the Himalayas.
