4:30 AM – Pickup from Kathmandu & Drive to Nagarkot
Drive 27 km (approx. 1.5 hours) to Nagarkot.

5:30 AM – Sunrise at Nagarkot (2,175 m)
Witness a stunning Himalayan sunrise with views of Everest, Annapurna, Langtang, and other peaks.

6:00 AM – Breakfast at Nagarkot
Enjoy a light breakfast at a local lodge before beginning the hike.

8:00 AM – Hike from Nagarkot to Dhulikhel (16 km, 5–6 hours)
Trek downhill through terraced fields, pine and rhododendron forests, and small villages. Along the way:

  • Nala Village – Karunamaya Temple and traditional local treats (like Khuwa)
  • Banepa – Explore ancient temples, Ganesh shrines, and observe authentic village life

2:00 PM – Arrive in Dhulikhel & Explore
Enjoy panoramic Himalayan views, visit local temples such as Kali Temple, and have lunch at a traditional restaurant.

3:30 PM – Drive Back to Kathmandu
Return to Kathmandu (approx. 1 hour). Optional stops for photos or local souvenirs along the way.
