Cross Pele La Pass (3,240m) and enter the fertile Mangde Chhu Valley. Explore the magnificent Trongsa Dzong, perched dramatically above the river. Overnight in Trongsa.
Travel to the glacial Phobjikha Valley, home to Black-necked Cranes and diverse wildlife. Visit Gangtey Monastery before returning to Wangdiphodrang for overnight stay.
Drive to Paro. Visit the National Museum, Drukgyel Dzong, Rinpung Dzong, and a typical Bhutanese farmhouse. Enjoy views of Mount Jumolhari (7,314m). Overnight in Paro.
Hike to Tiger’s Nest Monastery, Bhutan’s most iconic landmark perched on a cliff. Half-day hike with free time for additional sightseeing in Paro. Overnight in Paro.
After breakfast, transfer to Paro International Airport for your onward journey.
