Their warm hospitality and rich culture add depth to the entire journey. As a relatively new and off-the-beaten-path route, Pikey Peak provides a peaceful, less-crowded trekking experience.

If you wish to witness the magnificence of the Everest region without intense physical effort—and within a short timeframe—Pikey Peak Trek is the perfect choice. The trek is also budget-friendly due to easy road access, which reduces the overall cost and eliminates the need for expensive flights.

The trek officially begins at Dhap and ends at Phaplu. From Kathmandu, you’ll drive to Dhap via jeep (approximately 8 hours). The journey offers scenic views of hills, rivers, and local settlements. After spending the first night in Dhap, the trekking adventure begins. You’ll pass through Jhapre, Pikey Peak Base Camp, and ascend the summit. The return trail takes you through locations such as Jasmane Bhanjyang and Junbesi before reaching Phaplu. Following an overnight stay in Phaplu, you’ll drive back to Kathmandu.

Pikey Peak Trek itinerary

Meet our representative upon your arrival at Kathmandu Airport. You will be warmly welcomed and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to relax or explore the nearby areas.
Overnight in Kathmandu.

Start your journey with a scenic drive to Dhap. The drive offers beautiful countryside views, terraced fields, and Himalayan landscapes along the way.

Your trek begins as you walk through terraced farmlands, rhododendron forests, and Sherpa villages on the way to Jhapre.

Continue your ascent to the base camp, enjoying wide Himalayan views as you move closer to the peak.

Begin early to reach the summit in time for a breathtaking sunrise over Everest, Numbur, Thamserku, Makalu, and other peaks. Then descend through scenic landscapes to Lamjura Danda.

A short and peaceful trekking day through forests and meadows leading to the beautiful Sherpa village of Junbesi.

Walk through traditional settlements and enjoy stunning views as you head toward Phaplu, where you will stay overnight.

Drive back to Kathmandu through diverse landscapes and vibrant towns. Reflect on your Himalayan adventure.
