Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, a representative from Adventure Friendship will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in Thamel, the lively tourist hub of Kathmandu.

In the evening, meet your trekking team over a welcome tea or coffee and receive a detailed briefing about your Kushma High Bridge Baglung Trek.
You’ll also be introduced to your field staff who will accompany you during your trekking adventure in Nepal.

After breakfast, take a short walk to the tourist bus station and board a comfortable tourist coach to Pokhara, the gateway to the Annapurna region. The scenic drive of around 200 km follows the Trishuli River, famous for white-water rafting, and later the Marshyangdi River, which originates from the world’s highest lake, Tilicho.

Enjoy beautiful views of terraced hills, green valleys, and rural towns along the way. After a lunch break at a highway restaurant, you’ll reach Pokhara by early afternoon. Known as the “Tourist Capital of Nepal”, Pokhara offers a peaceful atmosphere, mountain views, and lakeside serenity.

Your Pokhara exploration begins early in the morning with a drive to Sarangkot Hill for a mesmerizing sunrise view over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. Enjoy a hot drink while watching the golden peaks of Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) and Annapurna light up in the dawn.

Return to the hotel for breakfast, followed by a boating trip on Phewa Lake, visiting the Tal Barahi Temple situated on an island in the middle of the lake. Later, visit the Gupteshwor Cave, Devi’s Fall, and explore the local markets for souvenirs.

In the afternoon, visit the International Mountain Museum, where you can learn about all fourteen 8,000-meter peaks, mountaineering history, and Himalayan cultures.

After breakfast, drive about 30 minutes to Pame, the upper source of Phewa Lake. This is the starting point of your trek.

Begin trekking along quiet forest paths and small settlements with panoramic views of the Annapurna range. Enjoy your first outdoor lunch in a small local eatery. By late afternoon, you’ll arrive at Damdame Village, a charming community surrounded by terraced fields.

Today’s trek takes you to Chitre Village, passing through the Panchase Viewpoint, one of the best short hiking destinations near Pokhara.

Walk through lush green forests, traditional villages, and rhododendron-covered hills. From Panchase, enjoy spectacular views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Machhapuchhre, Dhaulagiri, and Lamjung Himal.

After lunch at Panchase, descend for about 2–3 hours to reach Chitre, a beautiful homestay village known for its hospitality and serene environment.

Today is one of the longer trekking days but filled with unique cultural encounters and beautiful scenery.

The trail descends gradually through several typical Nepali villages such as Ramjha Thanti, Pashupati, Pakuwa, Bhavi, and Dobilla. You’ll observe traditional farming, terraced landscapes, and the everyday life of rural Nepalese communities.

By late afternoon, you’ll arrive at Kusma, a bustling town famous for its high suspension bridges connecting hills over the Kaligandaki and Modi Rivers.

Note: Adventure seekers can try bungee jump, giant swing, sky cycling, and zipline — all available at Kushma. The Kushma bungee is the second highest in the world and the highest in Nepal.

After breakfast, explore the thrilling suspension bridges of Kushma — some standing more than 160 meters above the river! Enjoy tea on the opposite side of the bridge with amazing views of the valleys below.

Later, cross another new high bridge over the Kaligandaki River and begin a gradual hike of about two hours to reach Balewa, an old town with an abandoned airstrip and a peaceful rural atmosphere.

After checking into your small local hotel, enjoy a relaxing afternoon walk or a short excursion in the surrounding villages.

After breakfast, start your trek uphill through settlements like Aamalachaur and Khati. The climb continues for around 700 meters to reach Bhairabthan, a hilltop area known for its traditional temple and open views.

After enjoying a local-style lunch, descend about 300 meters to reach Bhakunde Village, another lovely homestay destination.

Begin your day with a short hike to the Bhakunde View Tower (1,600 m). This is one of the most scenic points on the trek, offering panoramic views of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, and Manaslu Himalayan ranges.

After taking photos and enjoying the tranquil morning, descend through beautiful countryside trails for about 3–4 hours to reach Baglung, one of the largest towns in the region.

This is a relaxing day to explore the cultural and religious heritage of Baglung. Visit the Baglung Kalika Temple, a revered Hindu shrine located inside a dense forest on a ridge 350 meters above the river.

After the morning excursion, take a short drive back to Pokhara (approx. 2 hours). The rest of the afternoon is free to relax by the lakeside or enjoy local restaurants and shops.

After breakfast, board a tourist coach for your return journey to Kathmandu. The scenic highway offers one last glimpse of the hills, rivers, and terraced farmlands of western Nepal.
