Annapurna Trek with Wildlife Safari overview

This Annapurna Trek with Wildlife Safari is a thoughtfully designed journey that showcases the very best of Nepal’s natural diversity — from the subtropical jungles of the Terai to the majestic Himalayan foothills of the Annapurna region. In just 11 days, you will experience two of Nepal’s most iconic destinations: the wildlife-rich Chitwan National Park and the world-renowned Annapurna Poon Hill trekking route.

The adventure begins with an immersive jungle safari experience in Chitwan, where you explore dense forests, rivers, and grasslands home to rare wildlife such as the one-horned rhinoceros, Bengal tiger, crocodiles, deer, and hundreds of bird species. Guided by expert naturalists, you will enjoy jeep safaris, canoe rides, and cultural encounters with the indigenous Tharu community.

From the lowlands, the journey transitions to the cool mountain air of Pokhara and onward into the Annapurna region. The trekking portion follows well-established trails through rhododendron forests, terraced farmlands, and traditional Magar and Gurung villages. The highlight is the early-morning hike to Poon Hill (3,210m), offering one of Nepal’s most celebrated sunrise panoramas over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges.

Designed for beginner to moderate trekkers, this itinerary balances adventure with comfort, featuring quality hotels in cities and authentic teahouse accommodation during the trek. With experienced local guides, porters, and a focus on responsible tourism, this trip is ideal for travelers seeking a complete Nepal experience combining trekking, wildlife, culture, and scenic beauty in a single unforgettable holiday.
