Detailed Itinerary

  • Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu

    Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be warmly greeted and transferred to Kirtipur Community Homestay, located just outside the capital. Kirtipur is an ancient Newari town known for its traditional architecture and panoramic views of the Kathmandu Valley.

    Your host family will welcome you with a traditional tika ceremony and Newari Sagun, a cultural blessing ritual. In the evening, enjoy a traditional dinner and get to know your host family while learning about their customs and lifestyle.

  • Day 2 : Ranjana Lipi and Aila Experience

    After breakfast, explore the historic town of Kirtipur with your local guide. Wander through narrow alleyways, visit ancient temples, and observe daily life in this culturally rich Newari settlement.

    In the evening, participate in a unique Ranjana Lipi workshop, where you will learn to write the ancient Newari script using bamboo pens and ink. Your artwork will be framed as a special souvenir.

    The experience continues with a tasting of Aila, a traditional Newari drink, accompanied by Samay Baji, a famous Newari ceremonial meal.

  • Day 3 : Transfer to Pokhara

    After breakfast, travel to Pokhara, one of Nepal’s most beautiful cities, located at the foothills of the Annapurna Himalayas.

    Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy a free evening. You may stroll along the lakeside, relax by Phewa Lake, or explore the vibrant cafés and shops.

  • Day 4 : Hemjakot – Dhampus Village Hike

    After an early breakfast, drive to Hemjaphedi and begin a scenic hike to Dhampus, a beautiful Gurung village offering stunning views of the Annapurna Mountain range.

  • Day 6 : Drive to Barauli

    Today you will drive from the hills of Palpa to the Terai plains and arrive at Barauli, a traditional Tharu village near Chitwan National Park.

    You will be welcomed by local Tharu women dressed in traditional attire. In the evening, participate in a Tharu cooking class using firewood stoves, where you will learn to prepare authentic local dishes.

  • Day 7 : Jungle Safari and Village Exploration

    Start your day with an early morning jeep safari in the community forest, where you may encounter wildlife such as one-horned rhinoceros, deer, wild elephants, and possibly the Royal Bengal tiger.
