Detailed Itinerary

  • Day 1 : Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400 m / 4,594 ft)

    Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, our representative will greet you and assist with luggage and transportation to your hotel. After check-in, you can relax before attending a pre-expedition briefing in the afternoon. Here, your expedition leader will walk you through the itinerary, safety guidelines, equipment, and logistics.

  • Day 2 : Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing & Climbing Preparation

    Today’s guided cultural tour introduces you to major UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, Swyambhunath (Monkey Temple), and Kathmandu Durbar Square.

    After the tour, return to your hotel to rest and complete final preparations for the expedition.

    In the evening, enjoy a traditional Nepali welcome dinner with cultural performances.

  • Day 3 : Day 03: Fly to Lukla & Trek to Phakding (2,640 m)

    Trek Duration: 3–4 hours
    Take a scenic early-morning flight to Lukla, the gateway to the Khumbu region. After meeting your porters and enjoying lunch, begin your gentle trek through Sherpa villages and lush forests, following the Dudh Koshi River. Arrive in Phakding for an overnight stay.

  • Day 4 : Day 04: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440 m)

    Trek Duration: 5–6 hours
    Today’s trek takes you across suspension bridges, including the iconic Hillary Bridge. Enter Sagarmatha National Park at Monjo and continue through pine and rhododendron forests. A steep final ascent leads you to Namche Bazaar—the vibrant Sherpa capital—offering your first views of Everest.

  • Day 5 : Day 05: Acclimatization Day in Namche

    Spend the day adapting to the altitude with short hikes to Khunde, Khumjung, Everest View Hotel, or visit the Sherpa Museum. Explore Namche’s bakeries, shops, and local markets.

  • Day 6 : Day 06: Trek to Tyangboche (3,867 m)

    Trek Duration: 3–4 hours
    Follow a scenic trail overlooking Ama Dablam, Everest, Nuptse, and Lhotse. After a gradual descent to the Dudh Koshi River, climb up through pine forests to Tyangboche, home to the region’s largest and most sacred monastery.

  • Day 7 : Day 07: Trek to Dingboche (4,260 m)

    Trek Duration: 5–6 hours
    Descend through forests and cross suspension bridges before gradually climbing to Pangboche and then to the windswept valley of Dingboche, surrounded by dramatic alpine terrain.

  • Day 8 : Day 08: Trek to Lobuche (4,930 m)

    Trek Duration: 5–6 hours
    Ascend through yak pastures and follow the trail to Thukla, where memorials honor climbers lost on Everest. Continue over steep moraines to Lobuche for an overnight stay.

  • Day 9 : Day 09: Trek to Gorakshep & Visit Everest Base Camp (5,354 m), Return to Gorakshep

    Trek Duration: 7–8 hours
    Traverse rocky glacial terrain to Gorakshep, enjoy lunch, then continue to the iconic Everest Base Camp. Take in sweeping Himalayan views and the Khumbu Icefall before returning to Gorakshep.

  • Day 10 : Day 10: Hike to Kalapatthar (5,643 m) & Trek to Pumori Base Camp (5,200 m)

    Trek Duration: 6–8 hours
    Before sunrise, hike to Kalapatthar for the region’s best panoramic view of Everest and surrounding peaks. Descend and continue toward Pumori Base Camp via Pheriche and Lobuche.

  • Day 11 : Day 11–25: Climbing Period – Summit Mt. Pumori (7,161 m)

    This period is dedicated to acclimatization, rotation climbs, and the final summit push. Typically, three high camps are established above Base Camp. You will undergo climbing training, practice ladder crossings, fixed-rope techniques, and safety drills with your Sherpa guides.

    Summit attempts usually begin after midnight to avoid afternoon winds. From the summit, enjoy extraordinary 360° views of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Cho Oyu, Ama Dablam, and the greater Khumbu region.
    After celebrating your achievement, descend carefully back to Base Camp.

  • Day 12 : Day 26: Trek to Dingboche

    Trek Duration: 5–7 hours
    Retrace your steps through Lobuche, Thukla, and Pheriche before reaching Dingboche for a well-deserved rest.

  • Day 13 : Day 27: Trek to Tyangboche

    Trek Duration: 5–6 hours
    Continue descending through alpine trails and Sherpa villages, enjoying the familiar landscapes and warm hospitality.

  • Day 14 : Day 28: Trek to Namche Bazaar

    Trek Duration: 5–6 hours
    A scenic day of trekking along forested trails, crossing bridges, and passing small settlements before reaching Namche.

  • Day 15 : Day 29: Trek to Lukla

    Trek Duration: 9–10 hours
    Descend through the Dudh Koshi valley, passing Phakding and several villages before making the final short uphill walk to Lukla. Celebrate the completion of your Khumbu journey.

  • Day 16 : Day 30: Fly to Kathmandu

    Take a morning flight back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and spend the rest of the day relaxing or exploring the city.

  • Day 17 : Day 31: Leisure Day in Kathmandu

    Use this free day for rest, souvenir shopping, or optional sightseeing. In the evening, join a farewell dinner to celebrate your successful Pumori Expedition.

  • Day 18 : Day 32: Final Departure

    A company representative will transfer you to Tribhuvan International Airport as per your flight schedule. Bid farewell to Nepal with unforgettable memories of your Himalayan adventure.
