Detailed Itinerary

  • Day 1 : Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m)

    Welcome to Nepal! Upon landing, our team greets you at the airport and transfers you to your comfortable hotel in Kathmandu. Enjoy a relaxing evening followed by a welcome dinner featuring authentic Nepali cuisine and expedition introductions.

  • Day 2 : Day 02: Preparation, Expedition Briefing & Last-Minute Shopping

    Today focuses on logistics and preparation. We conduct a detailed expedition briefing, check climbing gear, secure permits, and assist with last-minute shopping. If time allows, enjoy short sightseeing in Kathmandu.

  • Day 3 : Day 03: Drive Kathmandu → Dharapani (1,963m)

    A long but scenic drive takes you through Pokhara, Besisahar, and the deep Marsyangdi River gorge. You’ll pass lush hills, terrace farms, waterfalls, and rural villages before reaching Dharapani. Overnight at a teahouse.

  • Day 4 : Day 04: Trek to Tilje (2,300m)

    Your trekking journey begins as you follow forest trails, cross suspension bridges, and walk through rhododendron and fir forests. After passing small settlements, you climb gently to reach Tilje.

  • Day 5 : Day 05: Trek to Bimthang (3,590m)

    A picturesque trekking day through alpine forests and yak pastures. After visiting Karche Pass for your first distant view of Manaslu, continue toward Bimthang, a beautiful glacial valley surrounded by mountains.

  • Day 6 : Day 06: Acclimatization Day in Bimthang

    A full day of rest and exploration. Optional hikes include Ponkar Lake, Nyamlo Lake, and nearby glacier viewpoints. Enjoy outstanding views of Manaslu, Phungi Himal, and Kang Garu.

  • Day 7 : Day 07: Cross Larkya La Pass (5,215m) → Trek to Samdo (3,875m)

    A challenging but rewarding day. Begin early with a long ascent to Larkya La Pass, offering dramatic Himalayan panoramas. After celebrating the pass, descend across glacial terrain to reach Samdo.

  • Day 8 : Day 08: Trek to Sama Gaon (3,780m)

    A short and scenic trek through birch and juniper forests leads you to Sama Gaon—one of the most culturally rich and beautiful villages in the region. Explore monasteries, traditional homes, and breathtaking landscapes.

  • Day 9 : Day 09: Trek to Manaslu Base Camp (4,700m)

    A steady ascent takes you through alpine meadows and glacial landscapes toward Manaslu Base Camp. Upon arrival, the team sets up camp, and you enjoy panoramic views of the Manaslu massif.

  • Day 10 : Day 10–30: Climbing Period – Summit Manaslu (8,163m)

    Your climbing period includes:

    Makalu Base Camp Preparation & Training

    • Technical practice on ice and snow
    • Training with fixed ropes, ice axe, ascenders, and crampons
    • Acclimatization rotations

    Climbing Rotations

    Camp I (5,900m): Reached via steep snow slopes and crevasses.
    Camp II (6,400m): Plateau camp often requiring fixed rope travel.
    Camp III (6,800m): Exposed and cold high camp on a snowy ridge.
    Camp IV (7,400m): Launch point for summit push.

    Summit Push (8,163m)

    A midnight start leads you up steep snow slopes, challenging ridges, and the iconic summit crest. Reaching the top of Manaslu rewards you with magnificent 360° views over the Himalayas—a moment of triumph and lifetime achievement.

    After the summit, descend carefully to Base Camp over the following days.

  • Day 11 : Day 31: Base Camp Clean-Up & Preparation for Return

    A responsible mountaineering practice—team cleanup and waste management. Prepare equipment for the return trek.

  • Day 12 : Day 32: Trek Back to Sama Gaon (3,780m)

    Descend through glacial and forested terrain, passing Birendra Lake. A comfortable and scenic walk.

  • Day 13 : Day 33: Trek to Namrung (2,550m)

    A pleasant downhill trail through Tibetan-style villages and dense forest. Enjoy a slower-paced trekking day.

  • Day 14 : Day 34: Trek to Philim (2,300m)

    Walk past terraced fields, monasteries, mani walls, and river valleys. Philim is known for its cultural richness.

  • Day 15 : Day 35: Trek to Machha Khola (1,330m)

    Final trekking day through villages like Sirdibas, Salleri, and Jagat. Follow the Budhi Gandaki River back to Machha Khola.

  • Day 16 : Day 36: Drive Back to Kathmandu (1,400m)

    A scenic overland drive back to Kathmandu. Enjoy a hot shower and rest at your comfortable hotel.

  • Day 17 : Day 37: Contingency / Leisure Day + Farewell Dinner

    Use this day for rest or sightseeing. In the evening, celebrate your accomplishment with a special cultural farewell dinner.

  • Day 18 : Day 38: Final Departure

    We transfer you to the airport for your flight home—with incredible memories of conquering Manaslu.
