Duration: 5–6 hours of hiking
After breakfast, we drive for about 45 minutes to reach Phedi, the starting point of the trek. The trail begins with a steep climb on stone staircases through beautiful rhododendron forests until reaching Lower Dhampus (about 1 hour).
We continue ascending gently past terraced farmlands and traditional houses to reach the ridge of Dhampus Village. Here we enjoy our first panoramic views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail).
After lunch in Dhampus, we hike toward Pothana through oak and rhododendron forests. From Pothana, a short but steady climb brings us to Australian Camp, one of the best viewpoints in the region. Enjoy a spectacular sunset over the Himalayas.
Overnight at a lodge.
After breakfast, we follow a scenic ridge trail toward Naudanda (Nine Hills), stopping for lunch along the way. The trail offers constant views of Annapurna and Machhapuchhre.
From Naudanda, we continue hiking through forests and villages until reaching Sarangkot, the most famous viewpoint of Pokhara. The evening view of Pokhara’s glittering city lights is magical.

Early morning, we hike up to the Sarangkot viewpoint to witness a stunning sunrise over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. After breakfast, we walk downhill toward Pokhara, ending the trek by noon.
