Early morning drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara. Enjoy the scenic drive along rivers, terraced fields, and mountain views. Overnight stay in a hotel in Pokhara.
Drive to Nayapul, the starting point of the trek. A short walk along the Modi Khola brings us to Birethanti. The trail then climbs gradually through villages and forests, passing Hille before reaching Tikhedhunga. This is a relatively easy day to acclimatize to trekking.
Trek begins with a steep climb to Ulleri, a Magar village. Continue through lush oak and rhododendron forests to Banthanti and Nangethanti, before reaching Ghorepani, known for its stunning panoramic mountain views.
Early morning hike to Poon Hill (3,195m) for a mesmerizing sunrise over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. Return to Ghorepani for breakfast before descending through Sikha, Ghara, and Ghar Khola, crossing rivers along the way, and finally reaching Tatopani, famous for its hot springs.
Trek along the Kali Gandaki Gorge, the deepest in the world, surrounded by towering 8,000m peaks. Pass through Dana, Rupse Chhahara waterfall, Kopchepani, Ghasa, and Lete before reaching Kalopani, with superb views of Nilgiri peaks.
Cross the river multiple times while trekking through Larjung and Khobang. Enjoy lunch at Tukuche, a traditional Thakali village. Arrive at Marpha, known for its narrow alleys, whitewashed houses, apple orchards, and a beautiful Nyingmapa Buddhist gompa.
Trek along the Kali Gandaki River, reaching Jomsom (2,713m) and onward to Kagbeni, the northernmost village open without a special permit. Kagbeni is rich in Tibetan culture and architecture.
Steep climb along Jhong Khola valley, passing Jharkot. Reach Muktinath, a sacred site for Hindus and Buddhists. Visit Ranipauwa, Muktinath Temple, eternal flame, and surrounding sacred areas. Overnight stay at Ranipauwa teahouses.
Descend to Jomsom, explore the bazaar, relax, and prepare for departure.
Enjoy a scenic flight from Jomsom to Pokhara, then onward to Kathmandu.
