Detailed Itinerary

  • Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300 m)

    Arrival at Kathmandu Airport. You will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel. After a short briefing, if time permits, you will visit Pashupatinath Temple for evening Arati Darshan. Overnight at hotel.

  • Day 2 : Sightseeing & Yatra Preparation

    Morning visit to Pashupatinath Temple. After lunch, a detailed briefing and final preparation for the Yatra, including equipment check and demonstrations. Our team will assist if you need to buy or hire additional items.

  • Day 3 : Drive to Syabrubesi (1,450 m) – 150 km

    After breakfast, drive to Syabrubesi, a small town near the Nepal–China border at Rasuwagadhi. Overnight at hotel.

  • Day 4 : Drive Syabrubesi to Kerung (4,130 m) via Friendship Bridge

    After completing Nepal–China border formalities at the Friendship Bridge, continue driving to Kerung, the first town inside Tibet. Overnight at hotel.

  • Day 5 : Acclimatization Day at Kerung

    A full day for rest and acclimatization at Kerung. You may explore the local surroundings or relax. Overnight at hotel.

  • Day 6 : Drive from Kerung to Saga / Dongba

    Continue your journey across the vast Tibetan plateau toward Saga or Dongba, passing beautiful mountain scenery and lakes. Overnight at hotel.

  • Day 7 : Drive to Holy Lake Manasarovar (4,558 m)

    Today’s journey takes you to the sacred Lake Manasarovar, one of the highest freshwater lakes in the world. The turquoise lake, surrounded by Mount Kailash, Gurula Mandata, and Lake Rakshas Tal, is rich in natural beauty and spiritual energy. Overnight at Chu Gumba near Manasarovar.

  • Day 8 : Puja and Drive to Tarchen (4,575 m)

    Morning holy bath and Puja at Lake Manasarovar. The lake symbolizes purity, compassion, and tranquility. After rituals, drive to Tarchen, the base camp for the Kailash Parikrama (Kora). Overnight at guesthouse.

  • Day 9 : Trek to Dirapuk (5,000 m)

    Begin the first day of Kailash Parikrama, walking alongside cliffs, rivers, and waterfalls. The majestic view of Mount Kailash appears frequently along the route. Trek about 15 km (approx. 6–7 hrs). Overnight at Dirapuk.

  • Day 10 : Cross Dolma-La Pass (5,630 m) – Zuthulpuk (4,760 m)

    This is the most challenging yet sacred day of the pilgrimage. You will cross Dolma-La Pass, the highest point of the trek. En route, visit Yamasthal, Shiva Sthal, Gauri Kund, and Parvati Sthal. Descend towards Zuthulpuk, known for the cave of the great yogi Milarepa. Overnight at guesthouse.

  • Day 11 : End of Parikrama – Drive to Taklakot

    Complete the final stretch of the Kailash Kora. After finishing the trek, drive to Taklakot. Overnight at guesthouse.

  • Day 12 : Drive to Hilsa via Khojarnath Temple – Fly to Kathmandu

    Early morning visit to Khojarnath Temple, dedicated to Lord Rama, Sita, and Laxman. Then continue to Hilsa Helipad for your helicopter flight to Simikot, followed by connecting flights to Nepalgunj and Kathmandu. Overnight at hotel.

  • Day 13 : Final Departure

    After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your onward journey.
