Detailed Itinerary

  • Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu

    Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. You’ll be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to relax and recover from your journey.

  • Day 2 : Kathmandu Sightseeing

    After breakfast, begin your cultural exploration of Kathmandu Valley. Visit Pashupatinath Temple, the most sacred Hindu shrine in Nepal, followed by the towering Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest in the world. Continue to Bhaktapur Durbar Square, renowned for its medieval temples, pagodas, and traditional Newari culture.

  • Day 3 : Drive to Pokhara (5–6 hrs)

    After breakfast, enjoy a scenic drive to Pokhara, the picturesque lake city. In the afternoon, take a boat ride on Fewa Lake and visit the island temple of Barahi. Stroll along the lively lakeside market in the evening.

  • Day 4 : Pokhara Sightseeing

    Start early with a drive to Sarangkot to watch the sunrise over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. After breakfast, explore Devi’s Fall, Mahadev Cave, Seti River Gorge, and enjoy free time at the lakeside for shopping or leisure.

  • Day 5 : Return to Kathmandu

    After breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu. In the afternoon, visit Patan Durbar Square, famous for its ancient temples, palaces, and the iconic Krishna Mandir.

  • Day 6 : Fly to Lhasa (1 hr 30 min)

    Transfer to the airport for your flight to Lhasa (3,650m), Tibet’s spiritual heart. Upon arrival, meet your local guide and transfer to the hotel. Rest and acclimatize to the high altitude.

  • Day 7 : Lhasa Sightseeing

    Explore the magnificent Potala Palace, the former winter residence of the Dalai Lama. Visit Jokhang Temple, Tibet’s most sacred shrine, and stroll through the bustling Barkhor Market, a lively pilgrimage circuit around the temple.

  • Day 8 : Lhasa Monastic Tour

    Visit Drepung Monastery, one of Tibet’s largest monastic universities. In the afternoon, explore Sera Monastery, renowned for its monk debating sessions.

  • Day 9 : Drive to Shigatse via Yamdrok Lake (5 hrs)

    Enjoy a scenic drive across the turquoise Yamdrok Lake and mountain passes. Stop at Pelkor Monastery and Gyantse Kumbum, then continue to Shigatse to visit the grand Tashilunpo Monastery, seat of the Panchen Lama.

  • Day 10 : Drive to Everest Base Camp (5 hrs)

    Travel over the spectacular Pang La Pass (5,050m), which offers sweeping views of the Himalayan peaks, including Mount Everest. Arrive near the base of the world’s highest mountain and visit Rongbuk Monastery, the highest monastery on Earth.

  • Day 11 : Everest Base Camp – Return to Shigatse

    Wake early to witness the breathtaking sunrise over Mount Everest. Take an optional 4 km trek or local shuttle to the official base camp viewpoint before driving back to Shigatse.

  • Day 12 : Drive Back to Lhasa (6 hrs)

    Enjoy the scenic journey along the Yarlung Tsangpo/Brahmaputra River valley as you return to Lhasa.

  • Day 13 : Fly to Kathmandu

    Fly back to Kathmandu. In the afternoon, visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, the historic seat of Nepalese royalty, the Kumari Temple (home of the living goddess), and the hilltop Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple) for panoramic city views.

  • Day 14 : Fly to Paro – Transfer to Thimphu

    Take a scenic flight to Paro, Bhutan, enjoying views of Mount Jumolhari and Jichu Drake on clear days. Visit Kyichu Lhakhang and Paro Dzong, then drive to Thimphu, the Bhutanese capital.

  • Day 15 : Thimphu Sightseeing – Drive to Punakha

  • Day 16 : Punakha Dzong – Drive to Paro

    Visit the stunning Punakha Dzong, an architectural masterpiece located at the confluence of two rivers. Continue your journey back to Paro. In the afternoon, visit the National Museum, Drukgyel Dzong, Rinpung Dzong, and admire views of Mount Jumolhari.

  • Day 17 : Hike to Taktsang (Tiger’s Nest Monastery)

    Embark on a rewarding hike to the legendary Tiger’s Nest Monastery, perched dramatically on a cliff 900 meters above the Paro Valley. Spend the afternoon exploring more local sites or relaxing.

  • Day 18 : Departure from Paro

    After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your onward flight to Kathmandu, Delhi, or Bangkok.
