Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrive in Kathmandu
Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. You will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel.
The rest of the day is free to relax.
Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
Day 2 : Discover Kathmandu Valley
After breakfast, enjoy a guided city tour:
- Visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, the former royal palace complex.
- Visit the Kumari Temple, home of the Living Goddess.
- Climb to Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple) for panoramic views of the valley.
- Explore Patan City, including Krishna Mandir and the historic Golden Temple.
Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
Day 3 : Kathmandu → Fly to Bhadrapur → Drive to Darjeeling (144 km / 6 hrs)
Take a morning flight to Bhadrapur.
Meet your Sikkimese guide at the airport and proceed by road to Darjeeling, crossing the border and stopping en route for immigration formalities and lunch.
Arrive in the evening and check in at your hotel.
Overnight stay in Darjeeling.
Day 4 : Darjeeling Sightseeing (2,050 m)
After breakfast, visit:
- Happy Valley Tea Garden
- Himalayan Mountaineering Institute & Zoo
- Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center
In the afternoon, enjoy a Toy Train ride to Ghoom (subject to availability), visit the Railway Museum and the historic Ghoom Monastery.
Overnight stay in Darjeeling.
Day 5 : Darjeeling → Gangtok (116 km / 5–6 hrs)
Early morning excursion to Tiger Hill to witness a spectacular sunrise over the Himalayas.
Return to the hotel for breakfast.
Later, drive to Gangtok, stopping at Rangpo to obtain the Sikkim permit and for lunch.
Overnight stay in Gangtok.
Day 6 : Gangtok Sightseeing (1,600 m)
Morning visits include:
- Ganesh Tok Viewpoint
- Enchey Monastery
- Handicrafts Center & Flower Show (if available)
Afternoon visits include:
- Institute of Tibetology
- Rumtek Monastery (24 km from Gangtok), one of Sikkim’s most famous monasteries.
Overnight stay in Gangtok.
Day 7 : Gangtok → Pemayangtse
Drive to Pemayangtse, stopping at Rabong La for lunch.
Upon arrival, check in at the hotel.
Overnight stay in Pemayangtse.
Day 8 : Full-Day Pemayangtse Exploration
Discover the highlights of Pemayangtse:
- Sanga Choeling Monastery
- Pemayangtse Monastery
- Rabdentse Palace Ruins, once the second capital of Sikkim.
Overnight stay in Pemayangtse.
Day 9 : Pemayangtse → Yuksom
After breakfast, drive to Yuksom, the first capital of Sikkim where the first Chogyal (Religious King) was consecrated in 1642.
En route, visit the serene Kecheopalri Lake.
After check-in and lunch, hike to the historic Dubdi Monastery (circa 1700), considered the oldest monastery in Sikkim.
Overnight stay in Yuksom.
Day 10 : Yuksom → Kalimpong
After breakfast, drive to Kalimpong, stopping en route to visit the sacred Tashiding Monastery (a short 45-minute uphill walk).
Continue to Kalimpong with a packed lunch.

Day 11 : Kalimpong Sightseeing
Explore the highlights of Kalimpong:
- Durpin Dara Viewpoint
- Local Monastery & Flower Nursery
- Delo Viewpoint and vibrant local markets
Overnight stay in Kalimpong.
Day 12 : Kalimpong → Drive to Bhadrapur → Fly to Kathmandu
After an early breakfast, drive to Bhadrapur Airport to board the flight back to Kathmandu.
Upon arrival, meet our representative and transfer to your hotel.
The remainder of the day is free for rest or last-minute shopping.
Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
Day 13 : Departure
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel.
Free time until your transfer to the airport for your onward journey.
