Detailed Itinerary

  • Day 1 : Arrive in Delhi

    Welcome to Delhi, the capital of India. You’ll be greeted by our representative at the airport and transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Delhi.

  • Day 2 : Delhi Sightseeing

    After breakfast, enjoy a full-day sightseeing tour:

    • Old Delhi: Visit Red Fort and Raj Ghat.
    • New Delhi: Drive along Rajpath to view Parliament House, President’s House, and India Gate. Visit Humayun’s Tomb, Qutub Minar, and Birla Temple.
      Overnight in Delhi.
  • Day 3 : Delhi → Agra (200 km / 4 hrs drive)

    After breakfast, drive to Agra. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and relax.
    Later, explore the local markets or enjoy leisure time.
    Overnight in Agra.

  • Day 4 : Agra Sightseeing

    Today, visit:

    • Taj Mahal: The world-famous symbol of love built by Emperor Shah Jahan.
    • Agra Fort: A UNESCO World Heritage Site, witness to many historic events.
      Overnight in Agra.
  • Day 5 : Agra → Jaipur (225 km / 4 hrs drive)

    After breakfast, drive to Jaipur. On arrival, visit:

    • City Palace
    • Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds)
      In the evening, enjoy a traditional Rajasthani cultural experience at Chokhi Dhani Village.
      Overnight in Jaipur.
  • Day 6 : Jaipur → Delhi (260 km / 5 hrs drive)

    After breakfast, visit the majestic Amber Fort and enjoy an elephant ride.
    In the afternoon, drive back to Delhi.
    Overnight in Delhi.

  • Day 7 : Fly to Paro → Drive to Thimphu (2 hrs drive)

    Fly from Delhi to Paro. On a clear day, enjoy breathtaking Himalayan views, including Jumolhari and Jichu Drake Peaks.
    In Paro, visit:

    • Kyichu Lhakhang
    • Paro Dzong

    Later, drive to Thimphu, Bhutan’s capital.
    Overnight in Thimphu.

  • Day 8 : Thimphu Sightseeing → Drive to Punakha (3–4 hrs drive)

    Morning sightseeing in Thimphu:

    • King’s Memorial Chorten
    • National Library
    • Drubthob Nunnery
    • Folk Heritage Museum
    • School of Arts and Crafts (Zo Rig Chusum)
    • Handmade Paper Factory & Handicraft Emporium

    Late afternoon, drive to Punakha via the scenic Dochu La Pass (3,100 m) for tea and Himalayan views.
    Overnight in Punakha.

  • Day 9 : Excursion to Gangtey & Wangdiphodrang (6–7 hrs drive)

    Visit Punakha Dzong, one of Bhutan’s most beautiful fortresses.
    Continue to Gangtey (Phobjikha Valley), a glacial valley and winter home of the rare Black-Necked Cranes. Explore Gangtey Monastery.
    Return to Wangdiphodrang.
    Overnight in Wangdiphodrang.

  • Day 10 : Wangdiphodrang → Paro (3-4 hrs drive)

    Drive back to Paro. Afternoon sightseeing:

    • National Museum (in a former watchtower)
    • Drukgyel Dzong with views of Mount Jumolhari
    • Rinpung Dzong and a visit to a traditional Bhutanese farmhouse
      Overnight in Paro.
  • Day 11 : Hike to Taktsang (Tiger’s Nest Monastery)

    A highlight of the tour — hike to the famous Tiger’s Nest Monastery, perched 900 m above the Paro Valley.

    Return in the afternoon and explore local markets or relax at the hotel.
    Overnight in Paro.

  • Day 12 : Departure

    After breakfast, transfer to Paro International Airport for your onward flight.
