Detailed Itinerary

  • Day 1 : Kathmandu – Biratnagar – Koshi Tappu Wildlife Camp
    • Morning flight from Kathmandu to Biratnagar Airport.
    • Meet our representative upon arrival and enjoy a scenic drive to Koshi Tappu Wildlife Camp.
    • Settle in and have lunch at the camp.
    • In the afternoon, head out for a guided birdwatching walk along the Sapta Koshi River, where migratory and resident birds can be spotted.
    • Return to camp for dinner and overnight stay at Koshi Tappu Wildlife Camp.
  • Day 2 : River Safari and Jeep Drive inside the Reserve
    • Early morning nature walk around the camp area to spot birds and wildlife.
    • After breakfast, embark on a Raft Boat Safari (approx. 3 hours) on the upper Sapta Koshi River, accompanied by a naturalist. Look out for water birds, buffaloes, dolphins, and crocodiles.
    • Enjoy a picnic lunch by the riverbank.
    • Afternoon Jeep Safari inside the reserve (2.5–3 hours). Visit Koshi Barrage and the Pink Tower, popular spots for birdwatching and spotting freshwater dolphins.
    • Return to camp in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.
  • Day 3 : Full-Day Birdwatching and Village Visit
    • Begin the day with a sunrise birdwatching walk around the wetlands.
    • After breakfast, go for a Half-Day Raft Safari on the lower Sapta Koshi River, perfect for spotting rare bird species and aquatic life.
    • Afternoon Jeep Drive & Jungle Walk through grasslands, marshes, and lakes for more birdwatching. Visit the Crocodile and Wild Water Buffalo Machhan (View Tower) for close-up views of wildlife.
    • Lunch at camp or as a packed meal during the safari.

  • Day 4 : Morning Birdwatching and Departure
