- Day 1 : Full day Shivapuri Bird Watching Tour
🕔 5:30 AM – Hotel Pick-up (Kathmandu)
Your birding guide picks you up from your hotel for an early departure to catch birds at their most active time.🕕 6:30 AM – Arrive at Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park (Budhanilkantha Gate)
Register and enter the park. Begin your guided birding hike through lush forest trails.🕖 6:45 AM – 10:30 AM – Guided Birdwatching Hike
Slow-paced walk with stops for observation and photography. Possible sightings include:- Oriental Turtle-Dove, Himalayan Cuckoo, Great Barbet, Scarlet Minivet, Ashy Drongo, Verditer Flycatcher, Maroon Oriole, Rufous Sibia, Laughingthrushes, Sunbirds, and the endemic Spiny Babbler.
🕚 11:30 AM – Tea & Light Meal at Nagi Gompa
Enjoy a packed breakfast and Nepali tea at the tranquil Nagi Gompa Monastery, surrounded by bird calls and forest scenery.🕐 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM – Return Birding Hike
Follow a different trail, spotting understory and canopy birds in varied habitats. Panoramic views of Ganesh Himal and Langtang Range may be visible on clear days.🕓 4:00 PM – Exit Park & Drive Back
