Detailed Itinerary
- Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu
Meet and assist at Tribhuvan International Airport. Transfer to hotel. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
- Day 2 : Kathmandu - Swayambhunath, Boudhanath and Kopan Monastery
After breakfast, visit Swayambhunath Stupa, an ancient stupa with panoramic valley views. Continue to Boudhanath Stupa, a spiritual center for Tibetan Buddhism. Visit Kopan Monastery, known for its serene environment and Buddhist teachings. Overnight in Kathmandu.
- Day 3 : Kathmandu - Lumbini (6 hrs drive or 45-minute flight)
Travel to Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha. Explore Mayadevi Temple, Ashoka Pillar, and various monasteries built by different nations. Overnight in Lumbini.
- Day 4 : Lumbini – Tilaurakot & Gotihawa
Morning visit to Tilaurakot, where Buddha spent his early princely life. After lunch, drive to Gotihawa, considered the precise birthplace of Lord Buddha. Return to Lumbini for overnight stay.
- Day 5 : Lumbini – Kathmandu (6 hrs drive or 45-minute flight)
After breakfast, return to Kathmandu. Afternoon free for rest or personal exploration. Overnight in Kathmandu.
- Day 6 : Departure
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport for your onward journey.
