Detailed Itinerary

  • Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu

    Our staff will greet you at Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer you to your hotel (2–4 star). The rest of the day is free to relax or explore the vibrant streets of Thamel. Overnight in Kathmandu.

  • Day 2 : Kathmandu Sightseeing and Preparation

    Today you will enjoy a cultural tour of the Kathmandu Valley. Key UNESCO World Heritage Sites include Boudhanath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, and Swayambhunath Stupa. In the afternoon, you will have time for final preparations and a briefing with your guide. Overnight in Kathmandu.

  • Day 3 : Drive to Pokhara (820m)

    After breakfast, drive by jeep to Pokhara (201 km, 6–8 hrs). In the evening, enjoy the lakeside atmosphere with its cafes, bars, and live music. Optional activities include boating on Phewa Lake or watching the sunset over the Annapurna range. Overnight in Pokhara.

  • Day 4 : Drive to Muri (1,850m)

    Today, take a jeep ride (71 km, 4–6 hrs) to Muri, passing through Darbang (1,110m) and Sibang (1,780m). The route passes rice, barley, millet, and maize farmlands, along with green forests and rivers. Muri, a Magar village, offers your first taste of rural mountain life. Overnight in a tea house.

  • Day 5 : Trek Muri to Boghara (2,080m)

    Cross a suspension bridge over the Muri Khola and ascend through bamboo and rhododendron forests. The trail passes scattered farmhouses and fertile fields before reaching Boghara. Overnight in a tea house.

  • Day 6 : Trek Boghara to Dobang (2,520m)

    Follow the trail along the Myagdi Khola, through subtropical forests and small settlements. The locals here are known for traditional honey hunting. After 4–6 hours of trekking, arrive at Dobang, where both tea houses and tented camps are available. Overnight in a tea house.

  • Day 7 : Trek Dobang to Sallaghari (3,100m)

    A 5–6 hour trek takes you along the Kuna Ban Khola and across several bridges. The highlight is the first clear view of Dhaulagiri I (8,167m). Overnight in a tea house at Sallaghari.

  • Day 8 : Trek Sallaghari to Italian Base Camp (3,660m)

    Hike through pine, fir, and rhododendron forests before reaching rocky moraines beneath the West Face of Dhaulagiri I. From Italian Base Camp, enjoy dramatic views of Dhaulagiri II, III, and V. Overnight in a tented camp.

  • Day 9 : Trek to Glacier Camp (4,200m)

    A challenging 5–6 hour trek over slippery ice and rocky moraines brings you to Glacier Camp, located between Italian Base Camp and Dhaulagiri Base Camp. Overnight in a tented camp.

  • Day 10 : Acclimatization at Glacier Camp

    Spend the day resting and acclimatizing. Short hikes around the camp help prepare for higher altitudes. Overnight in a tented camp.

  • Day 11 : Trek to Dhaulagiri Base Camp (4,748m)

    Climb along rocky ridgelines and moraines to reach Dhaulagiri Base Camp. From here, enjoy stunning views of Dhaulagiri II, III, V, and Tukuche Peak, as well as dramatic icefalls. Overnight in a tented camp.

  • Day 12 : Trek to Hidden Valley via French Pass (5,360m)

    Cross the Chhonbardan Glacier and ascend to French Pass (5,360m) with views of Tukuche Peak, Dhaulagiri I, and Thapa Peak. Descend into the remote and mystical Hidden Valley (5,180m). Overnight in a tented camp.

  • Day 13 : Trek to Dhampus Peak Base Camp (5,400m)

    A 5–6 hour trek via Dhampus Pass (5,258m) brings you to the base camp. The route offers alpine vegetation and panoramic mountain views. Overnight in a tented camp.

  • Day 14 : Acclimatization & Preparation at Base Camp

    Rest day for acclimatization. Final preparation of climbing gear and briefing by your guide. Overnight in a tented camp.

  • Day 15 : Summit Dhampus Peak (6,012m) & Trek to Yak Kharka (4,018m)

    Start early for the summit push. The climb, though non-technical, is physically demanding. From the top, enjoy breathtaking views of Annapurna, Tilicho Peak, Nilgiri, Dhaulagiri, and Tukuche Peak. After celebrating the summit, descend to Yak Kharka. Overnight in a tented camp.

  • Day 16 : Trek to Marpha (2,670m)

    Descend into the Mustang region, reaching the charming stone-paved village of Marpha, famous for its apple orchards and brandy. Enjoy hot showers, Wi-Fi, and modern comforts after the expedition. Overnight in a tea house.

  • Day 17 : Drive Marpha to Pokhara

    Take a scenic jeep drive (139 km, 4–5 hrs) back to Pokhara. Relax by the lakeside and enjoy your evening. Overnight in Pokhara.

  • Day 18 : Drive Pokhara to Kathmandu

    Return to Kathmandu by jeep (5–7 hrs). Optional: extend your trip with a trek to Annapurna Base Camp or other adventures. Overnight in Kathmandu.

  • Day 19 : Free Day in Kathmandu

    Explore Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, or Patan. Visit UNESCO heritage sites, try Newari cuisine, or shop for souvenirs. Overnight in Kathmandu.

  • Day 20 : Departure

    Transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport for your onward journey.
