Detailed Itinerary

  • Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu [1,400m/4,593ft]

    Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), our representative will greet you and assist with hotel transfer. Depending on your flight schedule, you may rest or explore the lively streets of Kathmandu. Overnight at a hotel.

  • Day 2 : Kathmandu Sightseeing and Preparation

    Today, you will explore the cultural and historical highlights of the Kathmandu Valley, including several UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Later, you will meet your climbing guide for a briefing and equipment check. If needed, you can buy or rent climbing gear in Thamel. Overnight at a hotel.

  • Day 3 : Fly to Lukla [2,800m/9,186ft] and trek to Phakding [2,640m/8,661ft]

    Enjoy a scenic mountain flight to Lukla, the gateway of the Everest region. After meeting the trekking crew, you begin your trek, passing Chaurikharka Village and following the Dudh Koshi River to reach Phakding. Overnight at a teahouse.

  • Day 4 : Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar [3,440m/11,286ft]

    Cross several suspension bridges, including the famous Hillary Bridge, and enter Sagarmatha National Park at Monjo. After a challenging ascent known as “Namche Ukalo,” you reach Namche Bazaar, the vibrant Sherpa capital. Overnight at a teahouse.

  • Day 5 : Acclimatization Day at Namche Bazaar

    Spend the day acclimatizing to higher altitude. Explore Namche’s attractions such as the Sherpa Culture Museum, Sagarmatha National Park Museum, Khumjung Village, and the famous Everest View Hotel for panoramic Himalayan views. Overnight at a teahouse.

  • Day 6 : Trek from Namche to Thame [3,830m/12,565ft]

    Leave the busy Everest Base Camp trail and head west towards Bhote Koshi Valley. The route passes through forests, mani walls, prayer flags, and traditional Sherpa settlements. Stunning views of Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and Thamserku accompany you on the way to Thame. Overnight at a teahouse.

  • Day 7 : Trek from Thame to Kwangde Peak Base Camp [4,700m/15,419ft]

    The trail ascends gradually through rhododendron and oak forests before reaching alpine landscapes. Narrow, rocky paths lead you to Kwangde Peak Base Camp, offering spectacular views of Everest and surrounding peaks. Overnight at tented camp.

  • Day 8 : Acclimatization and Training at Base Camp

    Spend the day acclimatizing with short hikes around the base camp. Your climbing guide will conduct a training session on climbing techniques, rope use, crampon practice, and safety procedures. Overnight at tented camp.

  • Day 9 : Climb to Kwangde High Camp [5,200m/17,060ft]

    Begin your ascent toward High Camp, navigating snowy and icy slopes using crampons and ice axes. After reaching High Camp, your team will set up tents. Acclimatization hikes and rest in preparation for summit push. Overnight at tented camp.

  • Day 10 : Summit Kwangde Peak [6,187m/20,298ft] and return to Base Camp

    Start early before dawn for the final ascent. Follow your guide across snow and ice sections to reach the summit of Kwangde Peak, rewarded with breathtaking views of Everest, Makalu, Lhotse, Cho Oyu, Ama Dablam, and more. After celebrating at the summit, descend carefully to High Camp and continue to Base Camp. Overnight at tented camp.

  • Day 11 : Trek from Base Camp to Namche Bazaar [3,440m/11,286ft]

    Retrace your steps back through Thame and along the Bhote Koshi River. Descend to the lush tree line before reaching Namche Bazaar. Enjoy modern comforts after camping nights. Overnight at a teahouse.

  • Day 12 : Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla [2,800m/9,186ft]

    Descend along the Dudh Koshi River, crossing suspension bridges and passing Monjo and Phakding before reaching Lukla. Overnight at a teahouse.

  • Day 13 : Fly back to Kathmandu [1,400m/4,593ft]

    Take a scenic morning flight from Lukla to Kathmandu. After transfer to your hotel, enjoy free time for rest or souvenir shopping. Overnight at a hotel.

  • Day 14 : Contingency / Leisure Day in Kathmandu

    A buffer day in case of flight delays from Lukla. You can also explore more cultural sites, shop for souvenirs, or relax. In the evening, join a farewell dinner to celebrate the success of your climb. Overnight at a hotel.

  • Day 15 : Final Departure

    Our staff will assist with hotel checkout and transfer you to Tribhuvan International Airport for your flight home.
