Detailed Itinerary

  • Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu and Transfer to Hotel

    Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), our representative will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in central Kathmandu. After check-in, you may rest or explore nearby sites depending on your arrival time. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Nepali welcome dinner and meet your climbing guide and team members.

  • Day 2 : Kathmandu Sightseeing & Climbing Preparation

    Today, you will explore the cultural highlights of Kathmandu Valley, visiting some of its UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Key attractions include Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), and Kathmandu Durbar Square.
    In the afternoon, you will finalize permits, complete paperwork, and check your climbing gear with your guide.
    Note: It is not possible to cover all sites in one day, so we will visit 3–4 major attractions.

  • Day 3 : Drive from Kathmandu to Chamje (1,410m)

    After breakfast, we begin our adventure with a scenic drive along the Prithvi Highway, following the Trishuli River and later the Marshyangdi River. Passing small towns and terraced hillsides, we reach Chamje, a gateway to the Annapurna region.

  • Day 4 : Trek from Chamje to Dharapani (1,860m)

    Today we officially begin trekking. The trail crosses several suspension bridges over the Marshyangdi River, winds through lush forests, and passes terraced farmlands. We ascend past Tal and Karte villages before reaching the Gurung settlement of Dharapani.

  • Day 5 : Trek from Dharapani to Chame (2,650m)

    The trail continues uphill through Bagarchhap (a Tibetan-style village) and rhododendron forests. We follow the Marshyangdi River, pass Koto village (gateway to Nar Phu Valley), and reach Chame, the administrative center of Manang.

  • Day 6 : Trek from Chame to Upper Pisang (3,300m)

    Following the river, we pass Bhratang and climb through pine forests before crossing a suspension bridge. The trail then ascends to Dhikur Pokhari before reaching Upper Pisang, which offers stunning views of Annapurna II and Pisang Peak.

  • Day 7 : Acclimatization Day at Upper Pisang

    Today is set aside for rest and acclimatization. You may practice basic climbing techniques with your guide, explore local monasteries, or enjoy panoramic views of Annapurna, Tilicho Peak, and Gangapurna.

  • Day 8 : Trek to Pisang Peak Base Camp (4,380m)

    We leave Upper Pisang and ascend through alpine forests and meadows. The trail leads us to Kharka, an open pasture ideal for camping. We continue to the base of Pisang Peak, where we set up camp.

  • Day 9 : Trek to Pisang Peak High Camp (5,400m)

    Today we ascend steeply on rocky paths to reach High Camp. After setting up tents, the climbing guide checks gear and provides final instructions for the summit push. Rest and hydrate well for the big day ahead.

  • Day 10 : Summit Pisang Peak (6,091m) & Return to Base Camp

    The summit day begins early (around 2–3 am). We ascend steep snow slopes, follow ridgelines, and use fixed ropes where necessary. After reaching the summit, enjoy breathtaking views of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Tilicho Peak, Glacier Dome, and Manaslu.
    We then carefully descend back to Base Camp.

  • Day 11 : Trek from Base Camp to Manang (3,450m)

    After breakfast, we descend back into the Annapurna Circuit trail, following the river valley to reach the charming village of Manang. This valley is known for its Tibetan-influenced culture, monasteries, and stone-built houses.

  • Day 12 : Trek from Manang to Yak Kharka (4,110m)

    We gradually ascend through alpine meadows and juniper forests, passing grazing areas and small settlements. The thin air makes today’s shorter hike important for acclimatization.

  • Day 13 : Trek from Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi (4,600m)

    We trek across rocky terrain and descend briefly before climbing to Thorong Phedi, the base of Thorong La Pass. Panoramic views of Mt. Syagang, Mt. Khatungkan, and Gundang accompany us.

  • Day 14 : Cross Thorong La Pass (5,416m) & Trek to Muktinath (3,800m)

    An early start takes us over the famous Thorong La Pass (5,416m), one of the world’s highest trekking passes. Prayer flags and incredible Himalayan views mark the top. We then descend steeply to reach Muktinath, a sacred pilgrimage site for Hindus and Buddhists.

  • Day 15 : Trek from Muktinath to Jomsom (2,670m)

    After visiting the Muktinath Temple and its 108 holy water spouts, we trek downhill through Kagbeni and along the Kali Gandaki River to reach Jomsom, the administrative center of Mustang.

  • Day 16 : Flight from Jomsom to Pokhara (820m) & Sightseeing

    We take a short but scenic flight to Pokhara, Nepal’s lake city. Upon arrival, enjoy sightseeing around Phewa Lake, Davis Falls, Mahendra Cave, Bat Cave, and the vibrant lakeside area.

  • Day 17 : Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu (1,400m)

    We drive back along the Prithvi Highway, passing rivers, farmland, and small towns. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, transfer to your hotel.

  • Day 18 : Leisure Day in Kathmandu

    A buffer day for rest or exploration in Kathmandu. You may visit Bhaktapur, Patan, or Thamel for shopping. In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner with the team.

  • Day 19 : Departure from Kathmandu

    Our team will transfer you to Tribhuvan International Airport for your departure flight. We bid you farewell with wonderful memories of Pisang Peak Climbing.
