Detailed Itinerary

  • Day 1 : Arrival in Paro & Transfer to Thimphu (2 hrs drive)
    • Scenic flight into Bhutan with spectacular Himalayan views.
    • Warm welcome at Paro International Airport by our representative.
    • Visit Kyichu Lhakhang and Paro Dzong (time permitting).
    • Evening drive to Thimphu, the charming capital of Bhutan.
  • Day 2 : Thimphu Sightseeing & Drive Back to Paro (2 hrs drive)
    • Explore Thimphu: Memorial Chorten, National Library, Folk Heritage Museum, Drubthob Nunnery, Handmade Paper Factory, School of Arts & Crafts, and Handicraft Emporium.
    • Visit Tashichho Dzong, Bhutan’s grand administrative & monastic center.
    • Late afternoon drive back to Paro for overnight stay.
  • Day 3 : Paro – Hike to Tiger’s Nest Monastery
    • After breakfast, hike to the spectacular Taktsang (Tiger’s Nest Monastery) perched on a cliff 900m above the valley.
    • Afternoon visit to the National Museum of Bhutan, Rinpung Dzong, Drukgyel Dzong ruins, and traditional Bhutanese farmhouses.
    • Enjoy majestic views of Mt. Jumolhari.
  • Day 4 : Departure from Paro
