An early morning transfer takes you to the domestic airport for a scenic 40-minute flight to Lukla, the gateway to the Khumbu region. Upon landing, meet your trekking crew and begin your trek. Today’s trail follows the Dudh Koshi River upstream. Along the way, you’ll encounter porters, Sherpas, and their zopkios (hybrid yaks). Cross several suspension bridges and pass through Jorsale, the entry point of Sagarmatha National Park. After crossing the final high suspension bridge, begin a steep climb to reach Namche Bazaar, the vibrant Sherpa trading town. First glimpses of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, and Ama Dablam are possible on this stretch.

After breakfast, ascend on a high trail with spectacular views of Nupla, Kwangde Himal, Thamserku, and the Lhotse-Nuptse wall. Everest appears above the ridgeline—a commanding sight. Trek to Khumjung, a traditional Sherpa village less influenced by tourism. This peaceful settlement is ideal for acclimatization and cultural immersion. Surrounded by Himalayan giants, the monastery offers a stunning view of Ama Dablam and Everest.
