It is part of the Annapurna Conservation Area and serves as a gateway to longer treks like the Annapurna Base Camp, Annapurna Circuit, and Ghorepani Poon Hill. Detailed Itinerary

  • Day 1 : Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul and Trek to Ghandruk (1,940m)
    • Drive Duration: 1.5 hours
    • Trek Duration: 4–5 hours
    • Overnight: Ghandruk Village
      After breakfast, drive to Nayapul and begin trekking through charming villages, terraced fields, and lush subtropical forests. Arrive at Ghandruk with a warm welcome and spend the evening enjoying mountain views and the Gurung hospitality.
  • Day 2 : Explore Ghandruk Village – Cultural and Natural Insights
    • Activities: Village exploration, visit Gurung Museum, traditional dress photo session
      Spend the day discovering Ghandruk’s cultural gems: stone-paved alleys, local Rodhi dances, the Gurung museum, and age-old customs. If time permits, explore Gairi Gaun, a nearby traditional village surrounded by barley fields and scenic hillsides.
  • Day 3 : Trek Back to Nayapul and Drive to Pokhara
    • Trek Duration: 4 hours
    • Drive Duration: 1.5 hours
      Trek downhill via the same scenic route or take a local jeep. Return to Pokhara and enjoy optional activities like paragliding, boating, or lakeside relaxation.
